The issue of applying metadata to images before posting them to the web came up in a recent Denver Photowalk Group meeting. I thought it might be helpful to produce a short video showing people how to apply basic copyright metadata to their images using Adobe Bridge, Adobe Lightroom or Adobe Photoshop.
While applying metadata won’t prevent your images from being stolen, and aside from not posting your images to the web you simply can’t be 100% sure, it can help you prove that you are the rightful owner of the images in question.
This video shows you how to input basic metadata copyright information into your images files using Adobe Bridge, Adobe Lightroom or Adobe Photoshop.
While the video looks ok here on A Tenuous Blog, it looks even better over on Vimeo where you can watch it in HD.
Thanks for watching – Cheers, Alex
