The ice is melting off of Ferril Lake in Denver’s City Park. With the melt comes the renewed opportunity of shooting reflections.
I’ve always liked the look of open water, trapped between ice and rocky shore.

I’m drawn to the reflection of trees while leaves sit on the melting ice – the leaves seem so forlorn, removed from the tree, trapped by the ice – both parties helpless to the others placement.
