I have this image in my head that if you tinted the spray pink, it might give a more accurately visceral feel of the ooze sprayed all around the eerily quiet aircraft. Although, I suppose, no coloring could convey the feeling any better, anyway.
I see where you’re going with that Joy – it might be an interesting effect to try.
