A Tenuous Blog strives to be a blog about photography, community and learning. It is hosted by Aleksei (Alex) Saunders. Alex is a Denver based freelance photographer who strives to use photography to explore the tenuous threads that connect us to the world.

Alex is a member of NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals),PPA (Professional Photographers of America) TPN (Travel Photographers Network) and NPN (Nature Photographers Network). His images have been featured in calendars, popular magazines, corporate reports, in the TPN published “Around the World with TPN.”, and recently at a local denver gallery show at gallery nrc.

Combining a love for writing and photography Alex has had articles published in “Freshwater and Marine Aquarium” and the Travel Photographers Network Part 1 and Part 2.

The Denver Photowalk Meetup group – a monthly meeting of photographers from the greater Denver area – is sponsored and organized by Alex. If you’re in the Denver area and would like to get together for some photography drop by our Meetup page.
