Working a live music gig – After Action Report

It is a common dream that some day in the future you will be proficient enough in your photography that everything will work out as planned. You won’t waste shots and every image will be a keeper.
I’m as guilty of this dream as the next guy – even though I know it isn’t true.

Concert Photography – UMX 2009 after action report

The Ultimate Music eXperience 2009 held at Benders Tavern in Denver has come and gone. I spent 12 hours over 2 days photographing 60 or so bands; a total of – wait for it – 6426 frames in all. Now, if only all of those frames had turned out.
